The Green Woods Story

View of Penobscot Bay

Green Woods is a lovely, remote set of three charming rental cabins located 10 miles north of Camden, Maine, on the bay side of U.S. Highway 1. Camden and the nearby area are very charming, with much of their heritage preserved.

Two years after their marriage, John F. Popp and his wife decided to vacation on the property. They loved it so much that the couple returned every summer to enjoy the view, the town of Northport, and the beauty of nature. When the original owner could no longer care for the cabins, Mr. Popp took ownership because he wanted others to experience the same warm and happy memories he and his wife shared there.
